Pferdestall Cafe in Mespelbrunn

Service mediocre and much too slow when there is little activity. Drinks OK - also in terms of price. Food was bad. We had wild boar sausage with fried potatoes and sauerkraut. The bratwurst wasn't really done, just lukewarm and definitely didn't have any wild boar meat in it. The fried potatoes were slack and not really crispy and not seasoned. The sauerkraut came out of the can / bag. Unfortunately, very disappointing, as at least the game could come directly from the adjacent forest.

Food is delicious

The area is great but the service is very incompetent. Ice cream with hot berries is only served until everything is muddy. If you have a complaint, you have to fight very hard so that a scoop of new ice is added - and it was thawed and frozen again.

Very nice hotel on the mountain with a view

Bissel bad expensive. Operation is ok. Food is a matter of taste. I probably only had one bad day.

Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately too long waiting times. Even with simplest dishes such as fried potatoes apparently overwhelmed. Bread and boar bratwurst okay. Schorle costs as much as juice. Altogether not recommended!

Not recommendable !!! Very bad service. Long wait until a waiter comes. Many tables were not cleared. Loveless cuisine and ready meals. Everything is not learned! Nice place in front of this fabulous castle, where you can enjoy good cakes and a good variety of tea.

Nicely located on the castle grounds. Invites you to linger after visiting the castle.

The cafe is open (again). Pleasant atmosphere. Raspberry cream cake and curd cheese strudel are good.
